What is a Christian? How do I become a Christian? Bible Reading: John 3:16 - "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:17 - For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. John 3:18 - Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son. John 3:3 - In reply Jesus declared, "I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again. " John 3:4 - "How can a man be born when he is old?" Nicodemus asked. "Surely he cannot enter a second time into his mother's womb to be born!" Romans 3:23 - for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, Romans 10:13 - for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." 2 Corinthians 5:17 - Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! Ephesians 2:8 - For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - Ephesians 2:9 - not by works, so that no one can boast. Romans 6:23 - For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. John 14:6 - Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. Revelation 3:20 - Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me. 2 Peter 3:9 - The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. Scripture Reflections to Consider: What is a Christian? How do you become a Christian? What happens when you become a Christian? What keeps us from having fellowship with God? What is our human nature? What does it mean to be physically alive but spiritually dead? How do we become saved? Have you put your faith in Christ? What is the heart of the Christian Gospel? For more information about our ministry, please visit https://www.kingdomd.org.
