Knowing Our Own Depravity In Matthew 7 Jesus declared, “If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!” The greatest impediment to us living a life of complete forgiveness toward others is that we don’t really understand how bad we really are.
